What a Unique Job / Letter ID Is

Each mailing you create in OnlineCertifiedMail is automatically assigned a Unique Job ID (Letter ID).

This ID is:

  • Automatically generated by the system
  • Unique to that specific mailing
  • Used to identify your letter within your account

No two mailings share the same Job / Letter ID.

Where to Find the Job / Letter ID

You can find your Unique Job / Letter ID:

  • On your account dashboard
  • In your Mailing History
  • In confirmation details related to your order

Why the Job / Letter ID Is Important

The Unique Job / Letter ID helps:

  • Identify a specific mailing among multiple jobs
  • Reference a particular letter in your account records
  • Keep your mailings organized for you and our team

When reviewing past mailings or checking the status of a specific letter, the Job / Letter ID allows you to quickly locate the correct record.
