How Our Service Works
- You can create a free account on OnlineCertifiedMail.com at any time.
- We handle the printing and mailing of certified letters by printing the documents you upload and sending them to the addresses you include.
- You only pay when you choose to send a letter.
- There are no subscription fees or hidden recurring charges — you pay only for each individual mailing transaction.
When You’re Charged
- You are charged only when you authorize a mailing.
- This happens at checkout, when you confirm and pay for your certified letter.
- After payment, your item is printed and mailed.
- If you have not approved a mailing, OnlineCertifiedMail will not charge you.
Why You Might Be Billed Elsewhere
Sometimes users arrive at our site after using another separate service or vendor who referred us for the mailing portion of the process. Here’s how that can happen:
- A different company or platform recommends OnlineCertifiedMail.com for mailing your letters.
- You pay that other company for their service.
- Then you are directed to our site for the mailing portion.
- Because that other company is separate, their billing is independent of ours.
- In this scenario, you may have two separate payments: one to the referring service (for their service) and one to us for the mailing.
In short: If you paid another company, and no mailing was initiated here yet, it's likely that the payment was for a different company who referred us for mailing—but not for our mailing service.
What to Do If You’re Confused
- Check your billing statement to see the name of the company that charged you.
- Log in to your OnlineCertifiedMail account and check your Mailing History shown under the History tab of your account.
- If there is no mailing history and you see a charge that you believe is from OnlineCertifiedMail, it likely came from a different company that referred you.
If you still aren’t sure why a charge appeared, reviewing your billing descriptor and your mailing history can help clarify which company issued the charge.
