How to Check Delivery Status

You can view the status of your letter at any time through your account:

  • Log in to your OnlineCertifiedMail.com account
  • Click the History button at the top of the page
  • Locate your letter to review the current status

This page displays the status of each letter, including delivery updates.


Understanding the “Delivered” Status

When the status shows “Delivered”, it means:

  • USPS has updated the tracking information
  • The letter has been successfully delivered

The signature file (ERR) will be available shortly after successful delivery.


Important Notes About Delivery Responsibility

  • OnlineCertifiedMail is responsible for:
    • Printing your letters
    • Placing them into certified mail envelopes
    • Handing them over to the USPS
  • Once the USPS has your letter:
    • USPS handles the delivery
    • Tracking updates come directly from USPS
    • No additional delivery details beyond USPS tracking are available

In most cases, the tracking information shown in your account matches USPS records, and no further updates can be provided beyond that.
