How to Check Delivery Status
You can view the status of your letter at any time through your account:
- Log in to your OnlineCertifiedMail.com account
- Click the History button at the top of the page
- Locate your letter to review the current status
This page displays the status of each letter, including delivery updates.
Understanding the “Delivered” Status
When the status shows “Delivered”, it means:
- USPS has updated the tracking information
- The letter has been successfully delivered
The signature file (ERR) will be available shortly after successful delivery.
Important Notes About Delivery Responsibility
- OnlineCertifiedMail is responsible for:
- Printing your letters
- Placing them into certified mail envelopes
- Handing them over to the USPS
- Once the USPS has your letter:
- USPS handles the delivery
- Tracking updates come directly from USPS
- No additional delivery details beyond USPS tracking are available
In most cases, the tracking information shown in your account matches USPS records, and no further updates can be provided beyond that.
