USPS Tracking Information
When sending a certified letter, the USPS will provide tracking details for the mailpiece which can be found on their website, or directly within your OnlineCertifiedMail account!
The tracking information they provide is usually clear and thorough, but sometimes it might leave you scratching your head. In these instances it's important to keep in mind that we don't have any additional insight into the status of your letter(s). We wish the USPS was able to provide us with insider information, but unfortunately, they do not. While we do guarantee our side of the process, we simply cannot guarantee their side.
Should you still have questions regarding your tracking information, delivery status, or signature file availability we recommend that you follow these steps first:
- Check the address(es). You can use the Address Lookup tool on the USPS website to see if the address exists in their database the way it was entered.
- Navigate to the USPS website and enter the tracking number for the specific letter, then fill out the information under the "Return Receipt Electronic" section. This will generate an email to you directly with any further updates.
- Contact the USPS directly.
