Document Upload Errors

If you already have a PDF that has been generated and our system isn't able to accept it do to a particular error code, that could be the cause of a couple of reasons.  Here are some questions to ask to help determine if your PDF is not upload-able for some reason:

- Does the PDF have any security restrictions on it?
- Does the PDF have any electronic signature fields in it?

If either of these are the case, it might be that the pdf isn't upload-able. At that point, you could try to run it through PDF software that would make it upload-able. We typically recommend Primo PDF, which is free software that may create an upload-able version of your PDF, but keep in mind that this option may or may not work for you.

If using that service (or another service) doesn't work, you may need to remove any security restrictions or electronic signatures on the PDF, and/or attempt to re-generate your PDF.
