This guide explains how to properly upload files created with Microsoft Word to your account. Since direct uploads from Word aren't supported, you’ll need to save your files as a PDF before uploading.

Why Direct Uploads Don’t Work
OnlineCertifiedMail does not support direct file uploads from Microsoft applications. Attempting to upload a document directly from Word will result in an error or the file not displaying correctly.
How to Save and Upload PDF Files
If your document is in Word and you need to upload it as a PDF:
- Open the file in Microsoft Word.
- Click File > Save As.
- Choose a location on your computer.
- In the Save as type dropdown, select PDF.
- Click Save.
- Log in to your account and upload the saved PDF from your computer.
If you prefer not to convert your Word document to a PDF, you can use the Letter Automator feature instead to create a simple letter.
